◼ MEXICO: Project to reduce energy consumption, shrink reduction that resulted in an increase of 50% on processing capacity. Savings of US$ 5.2 Million/year.

◼ CARGILL LATAM & USA Plants (Argentina, Brazil, California, Paraguay, Venezuela).

- Reduction of average 20% of operational costs for different plants in the region. Savings of US$ 3.0 million/year.

- Shrink reduction which resulted in an increase of refining capacity of 17%. Total savings of US$ 6.0 Million/year.

◼ INDIA: Construction, startup and running of Paradeep refining, packaging bottling plant to process vegetable oils.

US$ 100 Million investment.

◼ Valuation of several companies for Cargill´s potential acquisition around the world.

Also lead different Chemical Productivity projects for third party clients (while working for Cargill):

◼ PERU: Project to eliminate antioxidants in bottled oil. Savings of US$ 4.0 Million/year.

◼ DOMINICAN REPUBLIC: Project to reduce energy consumption and reduction on bleaching earths, achieved

savings US$ 350k/year. Shrink reduction savings of US$ 100K/year that resulted in an incremental refinery

capacity of 16% for liquid oil and 50% for tropical oil.

◼ MEXICO:

- Solution to shortening base by implementing enzymatic interesterification.

- Improvement on the reception infrastructure of vegetable oils and fats.

- Savings of US$ 1.6 Million/year for 15 years.

◼ AS DOUBLE R&D:

- LA FABRIL S.A. ECUADOR:  Performed in 2019-2020 a chemical and engineering process audit for its  industrial refining plants in Guayaquil & Manta. Total identified opportunities provide potential savings of US$15 Million/year. One-year Payback for the capital investment required.
